Sing Through My Voice

I learned this song back in 2019 at Open Hub Singing Club, lead by my brother Ian Carrick.

Originally it comes from Abigail Spinner McBride, who has a recording of it on her Bandcamp. This recording contains a bit of a story of how she caught the song, but is not how I sing it.

Beautiful Chorus has a recording of it, which is like how I sing it.

For me, the words express one of the most basic and essential forms of prayer:

Sing through my voice
Play through my hands
Let the way be open
